This is where designers, manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, fashion consultants, media outlets, etc. all get together to discuss, plan, and shop for all apparel and accessories.
The end of summer and the beginning of fall can be a great time to start planning for the fall meeting dates and all the trends that come with it. You may want to start looking at fall meeting dates in May, June or July. Fall is considered the off-peak season because there is less demand during the winter months which makes the prices higher.
During the fall season, people tend to dress down more and stay at home more. They also tend to buy less and hold on to their clothes for a little longer in case they need to wear them. This also explains why there is not as much demand for fall clothing during the winter. There is more supply of fall attire during the fall season and less demand, so the retailers have plenty of room to hike their prices. So, if you haven’t started planning out your fall meeting date, now is the time to do it.
